One Finger for Earth is an independent movement built around a simple idea: turn something negative into something positive.

For years, the middle finger has been used to express anger, rejection and hostility. We want to turn that around.

Not by aiming it at someone else, but by raising it for something worth caring about.

Two ideas. One gesture.

Be better to each other.

Do not use the gesture to attack another person.

Be better to Earth.

Care more for the natural world, our surroundings and the home we share.

Independent and open.

One Finger for Earth is not tied to a political party or ideology. People can have different opinions and still care about each other and about Earth.

The goal is not to own a gesture. The goal is to help turn a familiar negative symbol into a positive act that anyone can understand and take part in.
